It is an offset, semi-format sheet printing machine with an integrated exposure system
plates, designed for printing anhydrous, four-color in medium and large plants
polygraphic and specialized offset factories. It is the only DI type machine, i.e. a combination of a printing machine with a CtP platesetter. allowing you to work in a format
B2. The plates are irradiated directly in the machine, which gives a very good fit and a short time
preparation for printing. From the moment of sending the file to the software RIP to the first printout, it takes about 12 to 15 minutes. The number of run-out sheets is from about 5 to 7. Machines KBA 74 Karat
therefore, they are often used as proofers. The printable area is 510 x 735 mm, with a maximum sheet size of 520 x 740 mm. The machine allows you to print various types of substrates
thicknesses in the range of 0.06-0.3 mm. KBA 74 Karat can theoretically work at a nominal speed of 10
thousand. sheets and uses Presstek PEARLdry thermal plates and modified inks. On one side of the machine
there are printers and the Gravuflow paint unit, and on the other there is a spreader and a lining system.
In the part related to CtP, the machine is equipped with two heads
thermal-optical, for light printing forms directly on the cylinders, the Weko AP 230 powder sprayer. The maximum reproduction line is 80 l, and
resolution range 1524-3556 dpi. The machine has separate systems: central lubrication, air cabinets with cooling and a power cabinet.
On a separate computer
a software RIP is installed with hardware protection.
